Spring Training

Spring Training refers to the practice period in Major League Baseball (MLB) that occurs before the regular season. This is a crucial time when teams prepare for the upcoming season through organized practices, workouts, and exhibition games. Spring Training typically takes place in February and March, primarily in warmer climates like Florida and Arizona, where teams conduct their training sessions.

During this period, players work on improving their skills, building team chemistry, and evaluating new talent, including rookies and minor league players. It is also an opportunity for coaches to assess player performance and make decisions regarding the roster for the regular season. The games played during Spring Training are informal and serve mainly as preparation rather than competitive contests.
