Animation

Animation is the process of creating the illusion of movement by displaying a series of individual drawings, photographs, or models in rapid succession. This technique involves manipulating static images or objects to produce a sequence that gives the impression of motion. Animation can be achieved through various methods, including traditional hand-drawn animation, stop-motion photography, and computer-generated imagery (CGI).

The key principle behind animation is persistence of vision, where the human eye retains an image for a fraction of a second after it has disappeared, allowing sequential images to blend into a continuous motion. Animators use a combination of timing, sequencing, and visual storytelling to convey emotions, actions, and narratives through animated characters and environments. Animation is widely used in various formats, including films, television, video games, and online content, and can be produced for entertainment, education, advertising, and artistic expression.
